Quality
Voyage is dedicated to providing high quality care by meeting and exceeding regulatory standards. Through our quality management systems and investment in the training and development of our staff team, we aim to strive for excellence in the delivery of service. We believe the highest quality support, care, and accommodation is the right of every individual. Voyage aims to provide professional and efficient services which meet the requirements of all of those we support.
Everyone who stays with us should:
- Expect the highest quality care, support and accommodation possible.
- Have a direct involvement in designing and producing their support, care and development plans and in subsequent review meetings.
- Be given a say in the running of the service through regular community meetings and participation in the monthly audits.
- Be free to raise concerns and complain about any aspect of the running of the service, and to have their concerns and complaints welcomed and acted upon promptly.
- Be told about planned visits and inspections of regulating bodies.
To achieve quality, we do not work in isolation. We need to work in close collaboration with a number of people and agencies. Our key partnership is with the individual and, if they wish, with those who are close to them such as partners, family or friends. We have a close working relationship with Headway, the leading charity for people with an acquired brain injury, and have strong links with other organisations, such as the Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT) and the British Institute for Brain Injured Children (BIBIC). We are also members of the British Institute of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM) and the United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum.
