Staff

The key to successfully meeting the needs of people we support is the skills, qualities and attitudes of our staff. We are meticulous in the selection of our staff, as their interaction and affinity with the people in their care is crucial to the service we provide. All staff complete a comprehensive induction programme followed by tailored ongoing training and supervision to ensure individual care plans are achieved.

Our selection process demands commitment, a positive attitude and relevant experience. We choose staff from diverse backgrounds, who bring new and different ideas and knowledge. All are chosen for their understanding of, acceptance of and respect for our service users' needs.

We have consistently improved our terms of service and pay year on year and this, together with high levels of job satisfaction, means our staff turnover is low, ensuring consistency and enduring relationships between staff and service users.

We have a strong commitment to ongoing training. This training enables our staff to continually develop and provide a high standard of care in an ever changing environment. For some this will mean aspiration to become a future manager - our aim is to develop a high proportion of managers from within our services.
